Sam abruptly stopped swinging. He jump.ruoh na reved off the swing without even slowing down. He yelled,“Mommmm, where’s Champ?” He realized he hadn’t seen his new puppy for over an hour.

萨姆突然停下来不荡了，没减速他就跳下了秋天。他大喊道。了狗小的养喂新他到：“妈~，钱普在哪里？”他意识到他一个多小时没有见到他新喂养的小狗了。

Sa.nos reh nm looked around the yard, behind the bushes, and under the picnic table. No Champ! His mother heard the anxiety and fear build in his voice as he called her a second time. “Mom, I can’t find Champ!” She was conscious of the mounting fear in her son.

萨姆在院子里、灌木丛后和野餐桌下找遍了。钱普还是没有！当他喊他妈妈第二遍的时候，她听到他声音里的焦急和担心。“妈妈，我找不到钱普了！”她意识到他儿子不断加剧的担忧。

She came outside quickly. “Let’s look around the yard first. I’m sure he has just gone to take a nap.”

她赶紧从屋里出来。“让我们先在院子里找找。我肯定它刚去哪儿打了个盹儿。”

“Champ! Champ! Come here, boy!” shouted Sam and his mother over and over. But still no Champ. They did get other responses, though. José, the next-door neighbor, immediately agreed to help Sam and his mom search for the lost dog. Then Sam’s friend Tasha joined in the search, along with her older brother, Jamal.

“钱普！钱普！到这儿来，小狗狗！”他和他妈妈一边又一边地喊。但还是不见钱普。他们仍然没得到什么反应。隔壁邻居何塞，立即同意帮萨姆和他妈妈寻找走失的狗。之后萨姆的朋友塔莎也加入了搜寻，还有她的哥哥贾马尔。

The group decided to split up to look for Champ. They scoured the neighborhood from the main intersection of the big streets to the smallest alley. Still no Champ. Sam felt sadness and fear engulf him. He was sure that his best friend was gone forever. He was overwhelmed by the thought it was his fault.

寻狗小队决定分组寻找钱普。他们从大小街道、十字路口仔细搜寻了整个小区，还是没找到钱普。萨姆感到难过还有担忧困扰着他。他确定他的好朋友永远地离开了。他满脑子都是丢小狗是他的错的想法。

After an hour, Tasha suggested they go home and make posters with pictures of Champ. It was the procedure, or way of doing things, animal rescue had suggested when she had lost her cat. She explained,“Somebody called the next day. He found Boots in his backyard. Posters really work!”

一小时过后，塔莎提议他们回家然后做有钱普照片的海报。这是她丢失她的猫咪时动物救援组织所建议的程序或处理方法。她解释道：“有人在第二天就打电话了。他在他的后院里发现了博姿。海报真的很管用！”

Sam agreed. When they got home, Sam made a poster with a picture of Champ. It was a souvenir photograph from doggie kindergarten that Sam received to remind him of Champ’s progress. Then Sam heard a noise and opened his bedroom door. He was greeted with a cascade of wet kisses. Champ had been locked in the bedroom this whole time! Sam’s mom was right. Champ had been napping. Sam had never been so happy in his entire life!

萨姆同意了。当他们回家后，萨姆做了一个有钱普照片的海报。那是一张萨姆从狗狗乐园收到的提醒他钱普进步的纪念照片。随后，萨姆听到一声噪音并打开了他的卧室门，他被一连串的湿湿的亲吻问候了。这么一大会儿钱普都被锁在了卧室里！萨姆的妈妈是对的。钱普那时一直在打盹。长这么大以来萨姆从来没有这么开心过！

世界上最小的狗：Gracie美国维吉尼亚州诺福克(Norfolk)有只5个月大的巴哥犬Gracie，堪称是目前全球最迷你的狗，因为它只有15.2公分、体重0.62公斤。而一般的巴哥犬身高多在24公分左右，但Gracie却特别迷你，主人怀疑它可能有侏儒症。

世界上最高的狗：「巨人乔治」（Giant George）汪星人世界中的巨人，乔治生活在美国亚利桑那州土桑市（Tucson），身高达43吋（109公分）、体重245斤（111公斤）。它是一只4岁的大丹狗，是目前现存、也是有史以来最高的狗狗，它打败了美国加州圣地牙哥的另一只大丹狗「泰坦」（Titan），拿下世界第一的宝座。

世界上最丑的狗：冠毛犬萨姆萨姆是一只冠毛犬，它的体形干瘦，就像被扒了皮的木乃伊一样，皮肤满是褶皱，只剩下头顶的一小撮白毛，一双小小的眼睛相隔有一段距离，而且有对长耳朵很长，它的牙齿外凸、参差不齐，还缺了好几颗。看起来......已经不是丑能形容了，根本就是到了可怕的境界(小编抖抖)。

世界上最贵的狗：藏獒你的狗狗是领养的？还是花钱买回的纯种狗呢？你觉得最贵的狗狗要多少钱才能买回家呢？这只不到一岁的红色藏獒犬被一位山西的煤老板用1千万人民币买下，让它成为世界上最昂贵的狗狗。
